WELCOME to www.empoweringchildren.org, the online home of the Center
for Advancing Sudbury Education. Even the youngest children are driven to
explore and master their environment. By recognizing this, the Sudbury model
of education demonstrates the power
of self-directed learning in fostering effective,
responsible,
and happy young adults.
CASE exists to promote awareness and understanding of the Sudbury model, as
well as to support schools and startup groups. We hope this website gives you
the resources to discover how a Sudbury education can transform the lives of
